Re: Fruitcake Lounge

You know that that "i" is supposed to be pronounced as "ee", not "eye", right?

Re: Fruitcake Lounge

So how do you say "posse," then?

The carbon-look roof looks pretty sharp, by the way.

Re: Fruitcake Lounge

following wheel's off topic thing. please forgive my American-ness, but that's a Citroen, right?

Re: Fruitcake Lounge

"Off-topic"? This is the Fruitcake Lounge in the Shenanigans Room! There is no off-topic!

But yes, that's a CitroŽn.
(Don't forget the little dots over the "e", or else it says "lemon" in Dutch. Not far off, actually...)

Re: Fruitcake Lounge

Speaking of things which may or may not be amusing: if you like stand-up comedy, this bit from Larry Miller is worth a listen. It's called "The Secret of Skiing."

It takes him a half-hour to tell the whole story, and it's a little surreal along the way, but it remains one of my favorite stand-up bits ever. Miller's timing and delivery are unmatched.

Re: Fruitcake Lounge

WTF happened to the youtube homepage?
Everything is different, the recommended video's on the right are gone, and so is the "show uploads only" option... Gah, I really really hate the internet sometimes...

Re: Fruitcake Lounge

It's been like this for quite some time now, if I'm not mistaken. Yeah it really is worse than their previous layout, but since I only follow a couple of channels, I just visit these youtube  user pages, and thus it doesn't really bother me. Although the user pages have been changed quite a lot too, but I've got used to it, and now they are easy to use.

Re: Fruitcake Lounge

Yeah, it really is. Had to look up peoplestring.com, since the closer website globes are near eachother, the more they are linked and the same kind of traffic they get, but I've never heard of it. Also, dyog is a tier 9 globe, with a total of 12 tier represented in the picture. Tells you something about the relative size of the amount of traffic we get.
