Re: October: Month of Competitive play

I've heard about this steam thing. I need money to use it. And since I don't have any money, I don't use it.

Re: October: Month of Competitive play

Itís a game shop for computer, there is even some free games on it, and it does sales every other day on some games (Got every game valve ever made for £20 on Christmas), it also has some good freebies

Re: October: Month of Competitive play

But it also has many downsides. When their service is down, you can't access your games. And even though it looks like you buy games from it, you don't actually own them (no physical copy like a cd, but not even digitally). That being, when they shut down the service completely any where in the future, you have no way of accessing the games, and the games are attached to your account, so you will never really be able to have others play your games (when you stop using your account).
But other than these (likely small) disadvantages, it's quite easy to use, sells games for large discounts every week, and you woill never run into problems of having your cd broken or lost, and having to walk to stores wanting to buy a game only to find that they are sold out.

Yeah... key words in that are "buy" and "sale", in other words: NEEDS MONEY!

Re: October: Month of Competitive play

So... you're throwing in some free stuff, that's free regardless if I take you up on your offer?
Not that I would, or even could... I definitely shouldn't... I suck at adminning...
