We need monkeys to help counting too!
If we had a thousand monkeys all at a computer keyboard, we'd not only hit a million in no time, but we'd have a copy of War and Peace somewhere in there too!
Then let's declare it as such! All random old users who want to leave a message, this is the place to do so! Speaking of which, hi again, Cartman! I love how much you randomly spring up on here - it's always great to see.
Haha, well if we would all stop going away, we wouldn't need to keep dropping in, but I say that purely speculatively, I am as bad for long absences as anyone.
Good to hear from you again though, old friends, how is life treating you lately?
Teflon! Yay! You heard our call! Or well, para's call. I'll give him credit just this once for that one.
Can't believe people are still coming to this thread to announce themselves, but I'm glad it's living up to its new name of the ultimate drop-in thread. Now Teflon, you better stick around and keep helping with counting like para said - we can't have any slacking off going on here.
Was looking through the threads with new comments (of which there were a lot) and that jumped out at me.

Oh yeah. I wonder what it must be like coming back to this place after years and years and seeing all those lit up threads. I wouldn't know of course because I never leave. I'm trapped here forever. D:
I've got my grey badge back now and things have calmed down a little. Have you even lost your orange at any point?
I'm still in touch with a couple of the old members by the way, aside from those who pop in once in a while - Absinthe is doing well and actually visiting the UK later this year so we're hoping to meet up again. Piro has transitioned, she has her ups and downs but seems to be doing okay. Other than that I think it's just kristina, who still shows her face around here anyway.
Oh, really? That's really awesome that you're still in touch with some old members. Absinthe surprises me the most considering how long it's been since he was last in the forum, but definitely nice to hear he's doing well.
I remember Piro used to be around not even that long ago - good to know she seems to be okay, I hope she's happy. We have a lot to give her credit for with everything that she gave to this forum, considering she's responsible for the Mafia game as well as one of the biggest Minecraft servers! I'm really thankful for all she did for this forum - a lot of fond memories me and other members wouldn't have if not for her.
And finally, Kristina - yeah, she still shows up VERY occasionally. A shame that her visits are so rare, but good to see her nonetheless when she's here. She's great to have around.
Thanks a lot for the updates - I love hearing about past members and how they're doing.
EDIT: Oh, and I don't know how long I've had my fruitcake badge for. Shame it doesn't keep track. Far too long is probably the answer though.

The ultimate drop-in thread strikes again! I recognise you, good to see you pop up all of a sudden. And thanks for the well-wishes - we're a very persistent bunch of course, especially in our pursuit of reaching a million, so we'll probably be sticking around much longer yet. Hope you're doing good too!
WHAT IS UP WITH THE HTTPS CERT?
If the Admin could sort that out you would see me here a lot more often. Still exhausted from small human being, hope you are all okay.
@thepara - when does the tired-ness end?
@the123robot - please nag admin to fix up the ownership information on the site and keep counting
Well, I don't think Admin keeps up with this site really at all anymore other than renewing the domain every year or whatever, so I doubt he'll be doing much of anything. I don't have any form of contact with him myself - maybe I could try the site email but no idea if he checks that. The only person I'm aware of who had any contact with Admin in the past couple years was cynnicysm, who's given us a couple updates - I don't remember exactly what he said, but I don't seem to remember it being anything particularly hopeful on that front.
I'm doing okay myself, yeah. I can't imagine how busy you are with your tiny human (I'm only a robot after all but I hear they're hard work ) - wish you the best of luck with that, and hopefully it'll all be worth it!
