Re: Fruitcake Lounge

Went on a little camping trip to Germany,

See our lovely camp!

And our amazing kitchen!

We went to Cologne:

Where we went into a Lego store, and pick-and-mixed three minifigs!

We also went to Phantasialand, where I bought a new hat!
(see the "Post your g-damn picture" thread for those awesome photo's)

Re: Fruitcake Lounge

Nice! That looks more like a portable house than what passes for camping tents around here. tongue

Re: Fruitcake Lounge

They're quite common in Europe, actually.
This one is what's referred to as a "Tunnel tent", it's a roomier version of "Igloo tents".

The space inside is the main reason why we've picked a tent like this, along with how easy it is to pitch it.
It's quite convenient having a standing height living room in front of your sleep space.
You have room to sit and eat, watch a dvd, or whatnot, even if it's raining outside.

I wanted an even larger tent, but my girlfriend thought it would be too large for just two people.
What we have now is considered to be a four berth, but that can only be achieved if everyone is sleeping on one of those tiny sleeping matts, not a raised air bed like ours. Even with standard air beds, it quickly becomes space for three.
